Italy World Cup qualification
Italy have now beaten England and Uruguay's record as former winners who have missed two consecutive World Cups in their history. Obviously, England in 74 and 78, but Italy is now up to three.
If you look at the many theories that emerged in the past couple of days of why Italy didn't qualify, it has to be in their heads. It is not a vintage Italy, but it has enough quality definitely to go to the World Cup.
Tottenham manager appointment
Roberto De Zerbi's appointment at Tottenham has been confirmed with wide-ranging responsibilities for a Sir Alex Ferguson style role. A five-year deal seems excessive for a guy known for short sharp bursts with clubs.
Chelsea transfer policy
As a senior player, I feel discouraged by the model. Signing young players, looking to the future. But for all of us who are still here and want to win big things, moments like this make you feel discouraged.
Sweden national team / Graham Potter
Graham Potter was just the right man at the right time. I think these players just needed someone who was calm, someone who didn't give them too much detail, just playing basic football and having fun again.
Brazil World Cup squad
I would be surprised if he took Neymar, honestly. He made it clear from day one that he wants players that are physically well. He doesn't have the intensity.
England squad selection
I'm not sure about Nico O'Reilly being the number one left back now. When Lewis Hall came on, he looked like a proper left back. He looked like a really sort of Ashley Cole style left back.
Harry Maguire came on and did really well. And I personally would take him. I don't think there are enough good centre-backs that I would choose ahead of him. So Maguire, for me, is on the plane.
Turkey World Cup prospects
It's an ongoing meme that every time Turkey are in a tournament they're dark horses, but you look at their squad and it's like no, they actually probably are.
DR Congo recruitment
DR Congo's evolution as a team is that they've really gone for it in terms of recruiting players that could potentially have played for England, France, or other nations. It's really, really interesting.
