The FC IQ tactical overhaul is genuinely deep, but it doesn't excuse the sluggish menu system that still feels like it’s running through molasses. And, naturally, Ultimate Team remains a relentless microtransaction grind. If you ignore UT and just play Rush or Career Mode, it's actually a decent year for the franchise.

Not everyone has room for a full-sized pub table. This 40-inch tabletop version uses sturdy MDF instead of cheap hollow plastic, which is a massive upgrade. The rubber pads on the bottom do a solid job of keeping it from ruining your dining table during an intense halftime derby.
