Aguero 93:20 moment
If you did a film about the football team and you said that was the ending, you'd say, nonsense, that's never going to happen. So the fact it happens and you still see it in the incredible commentary now on that moment. The hairs still go up on the back of your neck.
Manchester City contract negotiations
It wasn't really like that [running down my contract]. I had two years left and we were looking to stay at the club... and eventually a contract came and it was effectively a pay cut and things like that.
Injury updates
For context, last year I couldn't lift my foot for six months so to be playing now and to be contributing on the field is pleasing and looked highly unlikely last year.
Retirement plans
Who knows [how long I'll carry on playing]. I think things change very quickly in football especially when you get older.
Leeds United relegation
I wouldn't have thought twice about staying and playing for Leeds United for sure. Thankfully it worked out in the end for myself but that is one of the small things that I only managed to play for Leeds for a couple of seasons.
Transfer window
It got pulled at the 12th hour on deadline day which was tough to take, I think, in terms of a club saying they don't want you and then bringing you back. And then, again, another big test and it's how you deal with that.
Player recruitment/transfers
I think it's a two-way thing and I know how I'm going to be when I go there. I'm going to give absolutely everything to whatever club I'm playing for... so I think it's right to ask what's your intentions and what's the plan.
Career longevity
I just felt like I had more to give still felt like I could play and everyone you speak to says you can play as long as you can... physically I was still pretty good.
Newcastle United managerial instability
I started the season, I played a couple of games, Sir Bobby got sacked and then it changes and a new manager comes in and things aren't going well... I don't think I started and finished the season with the same manager until about five or six years into my career.
Manchester City transfer
I hadn't won anything yet in my career and I think obviously with what was going on at Manchester City it was the right time to go and try and achieve something... it was a chance to go and join a club who hadn't had success for a long time.
