USMNT World Cup roster
Everyone is saying that maybe this is a last opportunity. It's not close. It's still open. It's not the final roster.
I do believe that this is very, very close to what the World Cup roster is going to be. I don't think there's a single person that would look at this roster if it was the World Cup roster and really have anything to complain about.
Noahkai Banks international future
The thing with Noahkai Banks is it wasn't a surprise, because there's been quotes from the player himself about how he's torn between the US and Germany.
If Banks does decide to play for the U.S. and he decides that before the World Cup, he should be in the World Cup roster. He doesn't even have to see the field. He's just good enough to play.
Gio Reyna form and selection
Gio Reyna is the interesting inclusion for me. He has a grand total of 26 minutes so far in the Bundesliga in 2026. That's two substitute appearances.
I think we really know that Gio is a very special talent and very special player. I think to give the possibility, even if it's not playing too much with his club, it can be very useful for us.
USMNT goalkeeper position
Matt Fries has started 12 straight games with the US men's national team. He is Poch's number one. I don't really believe that there is a competition.
USMNT squad depth
80% of Gio Reyna is better than 100% of Diego Luna. That's the thing. It doesn't have to be Luna. It could be Aaronson. It could be any of these guys.
USMNT squad evolution
We have unassembled it and then in the space of 12 months reassembled it again and kind of worked out in the same position we were to begin with.
USMNT striker pecking order
I would take Haji Wright over Big Pat, much as it will upset me. Haji Wright is in better form even with the injury, and I think has shown brightly enough for the U.S. under Pochettino.
