USMNT performance
The last time the United States beat a top 10 team was in June of 2015... Since then, the United States has not beaten a top 10 team. That streak, unfortunately, continues with the losses to Belgium and Portugal.
World Cup 2026
We found out also on the 31st that Turkey will be the third team in that group... So that will be that June 25th game in L.A. to close out the group stage for the United States.
Tactical analysis
Christian Pulisic was put in the starting center forward role, which is an unusual place for the men's national team star. He was supposed to operate as a false nine, but it didn't work that way.
World Cup 2026 squad selection
Mauricio Pochettino has said that he doesn't want the best 26. He wants the right 26. He wants the guys that can be put together in the way that he thinks that will be best for this team to move forward.
USMNT squad selection
If I'm one of those forwards, I'm going to be pissed. They've been performing really well and they're chomping at the bit to get on and to do more for the national team.
Managerial decisions
You don't experiment on Thanksgiving, and you don't experiment in the final game you have to try and get your guys the best opportunity for them to show that they should be on this team.
Player form
When you get the chance to come into the game, you have a point to prove, and it didn't look like much to happen there.
