This is why we have to keep the respect on Tyler Adams' name because we just don't have business handlers, specifically from the people that you need to be business handlers the most. Your center backs, your defenders. We don't have another one.
USMNT performance expectations
We just can't keep having this, man. Cannot keep having this. And it really doesn't matter, right? Until the World Cup. But, you know, for the casual, just tune in and see a 5-2. We trying to. But do we want people going into the World Cup with a false feeling that we should just go beat a team like Belgium more often than not?
USMNT goalkeeper situation
Matt Turner, I think he's cooked, brother. The distribution experience is terrifying. It really is. It's just never, that has never really gotten better.
Gio Reyna form
Gio didn't do anything positive in his 25 or 30 minutes on the pitch. To be fair to him, nobody did really, other than Pepe winning the ball off of Tielemans for the second goal. I don't know that anything positive was done in the last 30 minutes by us.
Tanner Tessman performance
Tanner Tessman, that same situation, I'm not sure he's getting there to help Mark McKenzie in that same way. Tanner Tessman, he was bad, bro. And the thing is, he was bad with like no plus moments either. He was ass, brother. I'll just leave it at that.
Tactical analysis/Refereeing
Gotta ding Tim Ream here a little bit. It's 2-1, we still have signs of life, and then he does the handball which is not necessary. It actually makes the save harder for Turner because he hits it down into the ground earlier than it would have gone into the ground from its initial trajectory.
Malik Tillman performance
I mean, really looking good. It begs the question for me, like, is this the best he's looked against a good opponent in a U.S. shirt? I don't think it's an incredibly high bar, right? So probably yes.
