Arsenal quadruple chances
Are we seriously thinking quadruple? There's no reason to think no right now, is there? You feel like there's a good opportunity on Sunday to get the first trophy under the belt.
I don't think a quadruple will happen. I have a gut feeling that something will fall by the wayside. I just think when you're competing in that many different competitions, maintaining that is incredibly difficult.
Tactical analysis
The only thing stopping teams from man-marking across the pitch the whole time is stamina levels and physicality. The physical gains we've had in the last 10 years—nutrition, recovery, sleep science—have allowed players to do this to a level they couldn't before.
A big part of why it's harder to be creative in the Premier League is because the Premier League has squads of players now who can man-mark across the whole game. They have the intensity and the athleticism to be able to do that.
Premier League competitiveness
I think we're entering a realm where we just have a lot more turnover in terms of whoever wins the league. We operate in a 'Man City dominance' brain, but it could just be that we see rise and fall really quickly.
Premier League title race
The Premier League is going to be won with a low 80s point total, which goes to show how many points have been dropped. It's much harder to win points in the modern Premier League.
Arsenal summer transfer plans
I think it's important to keep refreshing the squad. I think last summer was kind of about raising the floor of the squad, whereas previous summers have been about raising the ceiling.
Maybe Arsenal look to the right-back position. Ben White is still a good player, but he's struggled with injuries and Jurrien Timber has had to play more or less every single game this season.
Champions League draw
I think the draw has been pretty kind to Arsenal and Sporting Lisbon in the next round. I think they'll be pretty confident there as well.
Champions League predictions
Newcastle have been a bogey team for Arsenal in the Premier League for quite a while now. I think that would probably be the one I'd be most afraid of in the Champions League.
