Chelsea FC financial investigation
Chelsea have been fined 10 million pounds and given a suspended transfer embargo because they were secretly paying agents huge sums of money during the Roman Abramovich era.
Refereeing/VAR controversy
The game's gone. There is just no way that a deflected shot onto the arm of a player should result in a 0.79 xG chance from 12 yards out. It's just not fair.
Player form
I think he's the best player in the world. He reminds me of when you turn up to a pickup game and there's just a guy who's better. That's Lamine Yamal when you watch him in a Champions League knockout game.
Injury update
Did you see the Noah Lang thing in this game? He crashes into the advertising board and loses his finger. He had emergency surgery last night.
Premier League governance
I think the message from the Premier League is they want to continue to be the dominant force in soccer and they're okay with their clubs doing whatever they want to make that happen.
Tactical analysis
Barcelona deep in their own half ran a for-real basketball out of bounds play. They had a throw-in, and there's a screen that then allows Mark Bernal to come off the screen to get the ball.
I'm increasingly convinced that the best version of Man City is always going to feature Cherki on the field. He provides a nice balance to Doku on the other side.
Manager tactics
I think Pep Guardiola deviating from that front line of Doku, Haaland, and Cherki has kind of cost Man City in their season in this last stretch of matches.
Transfer rumors/Player form
I don't know if Ibrahima Konate is going to stay at Liverpool, but he was a completely different player in this game, played with real authority.
Champions League contenders
I'm still terrified of PSG. I look at what this team can do when they're toggled on and I'm still terrified of them.
