Title Contenders 2025–26

🔴

Arsenal

Mikel Arteta's side have been the Premier League's most consistent performers. With Bukayo Saka, Martin Ødegaard and a robust defensive record, Arsenal are hunting a first top-flight title since 2004.

🔵

Manchester City

Despite a challenging 2024-25, Pep Guardiola's relentless machine has been rebuilt. Man City's squad depth and tactical flexibility still make them a genuine title threat every single season.

🔴

Liverpool

The Arne Slot era continues to flourish at Anfield. Liverpool's high-energy press and Mohamed Salah's prolific form keep them firmly in the mix for the biggest prize in English football.

🔵

Chelsea

The Stamford Bridge rebuild under Enzo Maresca has the Blues back in genuine contention. A youthful, attack-minded squad capable of big wins on their day makes Chelsea the wildcard of the 2025-26 title race.

Premier League Title — What You Need to Know

The Premier League title is won by the club with the most points after 38 matches. There are no play-offs — the table doesn't lie. Goal difference is the first tiebreaker, followed by goals scored.

Since the Premier League began in 1992, only seven clubs have ever won it: Manchester United (13), Manchester City (9), Arsenal (3), Chelsea (5), Blackburn Rovers (1), Leicester City (1), and Liverpool (2).

The final day of the season, traditionally the last Sunday of May, often decides the title. In 2011-12, City needed Agüero's 93:20 winner on the final day to pip United on goal difference — one of the most dramatic finishes in football history.

In 2025-26, every match from February onwards carries enormous weight as the top four clubs chase every available point. The run-in fixtures — derbies, top-four clashes, matches against relegation battlers who raise their game — will shape the destination of the trophy.
