Arsenal — Arteta’s Finest?
Mikel Arteta has built arguably the most complete Arsenal squad in a generation. With Saka, Martinelli, Havertz, Odegaard and Rice all performing at the highest level, the Gunners have the quality to sustain a title challenge across the whole season. Having come so close in recent years, Arteta’s team carry the weight of expectation — but also the experience of near-misses that has sharpened them.
Liverpool — Slot’s Revolution
Arne Slot’s first full season at Anfield has exceeded all reasonable expectations. Liverpool have been compact, clinical and consistent throughout 2025-26. With Mohamed Salah still scoring at will, Virgil van Dijk commanding at the back, and the additions integrating seamlessly, Slot has shown that replacing Jurgen Klopp was not the impossible task many feared.
