Inter Miami performance expectations
There have pretty much been 10 chances where they've had viable chances and they haven't won a trophy more often than they have won trophies with Lionel Messi, which is probably not the script that they were expecting.
Columbus Crew struggles
I'm probably a little bit more worried about Columbus, but I'm worried about both of those teams, man. I just don't know that this Crew roster is it.
Columbus Crew coaching/tactics
This right now is a coach who doesn't seem to know what the best team looks like that he has with the players available, doesn't really know how to structure it, and is setting it up in really kind of negative ways.
Real Salt Lake transfer strategy
RSL looks like they've absolutely nailed their recruitment. Those players both look like well, well above average MLS players, if not absolute stars in this league.
FC Cincinnati tactical analysis
When you commit to a third center back, you are limiting your ability to modify what you do ahead of that line of your team. You have one less player than a lot of teams are going to operate with.
Nashville SC tactical versatility
Nashville sort of have two toggles. They can be much more combative and a little less assertive on the ball, or they can own the ball and just batter you with it over and over again.
San Diego vs. Real Salt Lake match quality
If this game hadn't been played in the afternoon sun of San Diego, this would be an all-time MLS classic.
San Jose Earthquakes performance
San Jose going to Vancouver, even in the state they're in, and keeping a clean sheet and getting that smash and grab win without Timo Werner in the lineup... that is a very credible result.
FC Dallas roster construction
I'm not going to do the whole 'oh well Dallas enjoy him while you can' bit. Instead, I'm going to do the whole 'Dallas, imagine if you gave genuinely one of the five best players in MLS more help.'
LAFC squad rotation
I think that when you look at LAFC, they're just not rotating a lot. They haven't lost yet, but it is running out the same front three over and over again.
San Jose Earthquakes improvement
I think San Jose are actually a good team now, in a way that they just really haven't been in a long time.
